Rinsing with a garden hose knocks the surface layer off and leaves the roots behind, which is why it comes back darker within a season.

Midwest Pressure Washing treats house washing as a chemistry job, not a pressure job. We apply a low-pressure soft-wash solution that kills the growth at the root, let it dwell, then rinse at a pressure that will not drive water behind lap siding, strip oxidized paint or blow out window seals. Vinyl, LP and fiber cement, brick, stone, stucco and painted wood all get a method matched to what that surface can actually take.

Prep is most of the work. Before anything is applied we soak and cover the landscaping along the foundation, mask outlets, light fixtures and low-voltage wiring, close windows, and move furniture and grills clear of the wash zone. We work top down, section by section, and rinse each elevation completely before moving on so nothing dries with solution still on it.

When we are finished your siding should be uniform in colour from the foundation to the soffit, your window frames and gutter faces should be clean, and the exterior should read close to how it looked when it was new. We then walk the whole house with you before the trailer gets loaded.
